Last year, we decided to sell our small house on acreage and buy a larger home on acreage that was more aligned with our present needs. After meeting with several agents, the obvious choice was Matt Jensen. From the beginning, we were very impressed with Matts professionalism and preparation. Matt clearly had done his homework on our house prior to our meeting and came to us with sensible ideas on how to maximize its value. He seemed kind, genuine and had a quiet confidence showing that we could trust him to close deals. The value in the house we were selling was primarily in the land. Uncertainties in how the land could be used would reduce the amount a buyer would be willing to pay and/or lead to contract contingencies that would present additional risks to us. Matt suggested a few small investments to resolve these potential questions/concerns buyers might have and we (thankfully!) followed his advice. Thanks to these investments, we received an offer for our house with no contingencies for substantially more than any other agent told us we could sell our house for aEUR" a 15X return on investment! The great result we had in selling our previous house allowed us to purchase the perfect house for our current needs! We would not have been able to afford our house without the great result Matt produced! Matt also represented us in the transaction to purchase our new house. Matt is very knowledgeable about house construction, landscaping, and the local area. He taught us a lot about the house we purchased and was able to close the deal for under asking, saving us a lot of money, especially considering interest rates. Both transactions closed on time and were very smooth. Matt also did a great job in reading, understanding, and checking and double-checking the contracts to ensure they adequately protected us.
