1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
1) Always hire a full time Broker. 2) Always do a home inspection 3) Hire a broker and work exclusively with someone that is going to represent you in a professional manner. This is typically one of the most important financial decisions most people make. Don't risk it with someone that isn't taking it seriously. 5) Have a list of must haves and wants. It will help everyone in the process to have a clear picture of what you really need and want. 6) Never plan on purchasing a home to sell it right away. Unless you are looking to flip, buying a home is a long term plan. While the market may make it profitable to sell in two years, its best to plan on being in the home for a minimum of 5-7 years in order to profit from the sale of a home.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
1)Price, Price Price. It is critical to hire someone that is experienced, knows what they are doing and how to appropriately price a home. Overpricing or under-pricing too much will consistently have a negative impact. 2)Hire an experienced broker. The sale of your home and guarding of your financial investment is a serious issue and not something to be taken lightly. Not all brokers are created equally.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
We have worked with a broad range of clients from first time home buyers to investors to those clients looking to downsize and transition.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Kind of fell in to real estate. I'm a second generation real estate broker - but didn't want to be in the business initially. After I gave it a try in 2007 when the market was falling apart, I discovered that I actually really enjoyed it and that I was good at it and my career took off from there.
