1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Our advice? Work with a Team. As a home buyer with The Delhougne Team, you have the benefit of our entire team working for you for the same cost of a single agent. Our team leader, your agent and your buyer transaction coordinator have the vast experience necessary to navigate the home buying process, avoid pitfalls, understand the legal requirements, and negotiate your purchase for the best price.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Question any agent who gives you a price for your home without first conducting the proper research. If an agent arrives at your first listing meeting with a price already determined for your home, find a new agent. We will never provide a price without first meeting you, walking your home, inside and out, conducting neighborhood research as well as relevant pricing and competitive research that will back up our eventual price recommendation.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
We work with residential buyers and sellers all over the St. Louis area. We encourage you to check out our Zillow.com profile to read a few of our over 350 reviews. Our agents are specialists in specific geographical areas including St. Louis City, St. Charles County, West County, Wentzville, O'Fallon, St. Peters, Chesterfield, Ballwin, Ellisville, Town & Country, Eureka, Pacific, Foristell, South County and the Central Corridor.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Every transaction is different, and every client is different. We work with each one individually. When you buy or sell with us, clients have the benefit of a team working for them. vs. a single agent. We have staff on call seven days a week to qualify potential buyers and sellers. A call from a potential buyer for your home will never be missed due to your agent being at a doctor appointment, at a soccer game or with another client.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Matt Delhougne began selling real estate while he worked as a St. Louis County Police Officer. Since then, he and the team has built have helped over 1,500 buyers and sellers with their real estate transactions. No other team in the St. Louis market had more transactions in 2016 then Matt's Team.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Our agents are specialized in certain geographical areas of the St. Louis metro. An agent with a deep understanding of St. Louis City is not the same agent you'd want to work with when searching for a home in Wentzville. Our agents are experts in the areas where they work and live.
