I'm actually surprised at the amazing ratings Matt has received thus far. My experience with him has been awful. I contacted him 3 weeks ago about an apartment in Dorchester. At that time he was quick to respond and we set up a viewing. He let me know that the apartment was being renovated (all 3 floors/units) so he showed me the top apartment, which was finished and up for rent at the moment, and also showed me the bottom unit, which hadn't started renovation yet but he said I could put down a deposit for when it was finished since my move in date wasn't immediate. A few days after viewing the apartment I emailed him to let him know I was interested and wanted to move forward. He said he'd contact the landlord and get back to me. 5 days passed and hadn't heard from him so I reached out again where he told me, "I haven't heard back from the landlord yet but regardless I'll call you back tomorrow at 10am to go over some potential other properties." I received no call, checked in with him again and got blown off. 7 days later I decided to call his office to speak with his partner Casey. Casey did the same thing to me. He told me he'd call me back after contacting the landlord...10 days have gone bye and I've heard nothing. Every time I inquire about the apartment they just keep telling me the same thing - that they will call the landlord and check back ASAP, except they don't ever call back and just blow me off. Matt even told me at one point that he'd show me other listings that work for my move in date so I can "get first dibs" before they hit the market - only I continue to get radio silence from him. I'm extremely disappointed at how negligent they are in doing business and with following up with me. I wouldn't recommend using these realtor agents if you want a smooth process. Very disappointed and frustrating.

I have known Matt for several years and knew he had a good reputation as a realtor in Dorchester. When I decided to put my condo on the market, I turned to Matt immediately. I was in the middle of remodeling my condo for my own use, but I had recently taken a job in another state and wanted to finish the remodeling job before putting the condo up for sale. I asked Matt for an in-depth market analysis, which he provided. He showed me that the nearest comparable units were all new construction. I then decided to remodel my unit to a higher standard - specifically remodeling the kitchen, repainting the entire unit, all new light fixtures, renovating the roof deck, and repainting the outside of the building. Matt was the project manager for the entire project - and the results were stunning. Matt brought a level of professionalism, pricing knowledge, and availability that I have never experienced before in a broker. My unit sold for well above asking price because of Matt's dedication and skill. I highly recommend Matt to anyone that is looking for a bright, energetic and knowledgable real estate broker, or manager.
