He has excellent communication and negotiation skills. He changed our mindset about open houses and truly brought in buyers and built relationships with potential buyers and kept them up to date on status. Hello, I have to admit that I was reluctant at first to list with a smaller real estate company, but after considering Matt Barnes for 6 months, We listed our home with him. He did a GREAT job photographing our home. He did many open houses and always followed up with potential buyers. His manner with buyers was always professional without being pushy. He was familiar with the area, it's taxes and schools and helped us stage our home to put our best foot forward. Matt walked us thru every phase of our home sale starting with a beautiful 4 color brochure and created a great digital site to help market our home nationally. Matt set a realistic selling price and coached us thru the entire process, explaining any real estate terms that we were not familiar with. Matt is hands down one of the best realtors in the Houston area. He took over my listing, which was on the market during high season for 90 days w a previous agent, and closed the property with in 45 days. He told me he could have it under contract with in 30 days and he delivered. Matt staged the home to perfection, priced it to get it sold quickly, and aggressively marketed the home. As a professional sales rep I appreciated the follow up calls and emails weekly from Matt on the progress of the house. My only regret is not finding Matt initially to list my home.
