I was very clear when I talk to Veterans United. I wanted a realtor who would have my best interest, had high standards, would be quick to execute tasks, had open communication, was detail oriented & wouldn?t steer me wrong. But also somebody who was relatable, fun, had good morals, value & character. If you?re reading this & you?re saying , ?wow! that?s really asking for a lot from a realtor!? As you think back to some of your not so great past experiences- it?s really not asking for a lot. Its knowing what you want & asking for it. Its Mathew! In fact, Mathew ended up meeting all of the above & so much more. He was there to openly listen through the stressful moments of the home buying process & the personal emotional moments, share some laughs, understand where I was coming from, hold me accountable for my part-actually make it fun. He took the time to explain every step of the way. He happily answered my whys- regardless of the million questions I asked about everything. He was never annoyed about anything. Mat followed up with solutions to concerns that were executed promptly. He even offered me the option of insurance, which came with 18 or so quotes. Saving me $900. He sent me a new listings often when they fit the criteria that I was looking for-without being pushy or flooding my email. Honestly, all of the things that I wanted in a house in my budget, I felt like I was asking for some thing that wasn?t obtainable. He reminded me that when it?s meant to work out it will, that he WILL find my home. I?ll be honest at that point I was over it. My lease at my apartment was going to be up really soon & I was stressed out about moving across the country. Then he found it -MY perfect home. We shared a FaceTime to show me through the house. I made an offer & the seller accepted -all over a weekend. The seller made all of the necessary repairs & then some right away. Three weeks later after making the offer, I moved into my dream home. The day of closing, I showed up to see the house for the 1st time, & Mathew greeted me with a hug & a smile. Not only did Mathew find my dream home in my budget that checked all my boxes, he made the experience fun, exciting, was there to listen, handle EVERYTHING & supportive in the stressful moments. Always having an positive -immediate plan of action. I gained not only a newfound experience of what the standard of a realtor actually is but also a friend id do anything for &somebody that I could depend on for anything. And still after already having closed on the house he is there to answer any questions, & checks to see how I am settling in.
