Thank you for taking the time to click on my profile. I have been assisting Real Estate clients successfully for over 20 years. I am a 27 year resident of McHenry and grew up nearby in Barrington. I have a wonderful husband of 27 years and 2 amazing kids. Many of my clients today are referrals from the very satisfied past clients I have had. My philosophy has always been very simple. I treat my clients the way I would want to be treated in the biggest transaction of my life. I communicate very regularly and answer my phone at most times. I find out the answers to the questions you have and don't stop until I do. I am honest and if that means its not the right time for you to purchase or sell, I will let you know. If it is the right time, we get to work as a team to make your Real Estate needs happen as quickly as possible on a time frame you are comfortable with. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Look until you are totally satisfied with the home you want to purchase. Know the contract you are signing. Get your pre approval done and with a lender who is quick to respond 7 days a week. That is really important in the beginning stages of a contract.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Listen to what the agent says about your probable sale price. Get a few opinions but go with the one you think you will fit well with. They are your closest ally during this process so you need to be comfortable with their communication skills.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with every buyer type in the 20 years I have been selling. Ones that could barely afford a home to buyers over $1,000,000. 1st time home buyers are my favorite. I love to teach about the buying process.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I love all my transactions. They are all so different and with twists and turns I am always prepared for. No 2 are really alike.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
My mom sold real estate for 40 years. Followed in her footsteps.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am Senior Certified which helps me to understand the senior mindset. I am always honest if they should sell or stay in the home they are in. I work hard with them to find their next place, whether another home or an assisted type of facility. Seniors like honest answers and not always what their family wants them to do.
