Should have not listened, should have not given in to fear and waited gpr right buyer. There is only one buyer is not an acceptable excuse for accepting an offer. We gave in and lost. Please check your own comps before accepting an offer. He gave a ton, but in long run it was not right. I give him stars for effort, but our sale was too soon. Family bought into the pitch. We were told that a certain offer was all we could expect. We accepted an offer of $540k when we were not shown a comp of $625k just up the street-with less square feet, no pool, no second fireplace in great room, etc., pls hold out for real best price as seller. We found out later that he had listed our home for $499-500k without our permission, and which was our original purchase price 13 YEARS EARLIER. We have been in shock and did not partake of his offer to help with next purchase. Listen to your heart, if it does not sound right, stand up and be strong. He will get it sold, but Only do it if it is YOUR PRICE.
