My advice for a first time home buyer would be to get pre-approved for a mortgage, define your budget, research neighborhoods, and prioritize your must-haves. Remember to remain patient and flexible during the search process. I work with a number of preferred lenders and can help get you started.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
My advice for sellers would be to declutter and stage the home for showings, this can be done with your own furniture. It's important to set a realistic and competitive price based on market research. Buyers look at curb appeal, exterior clean-up my be necessary to achieve the highest offer. It's important to be flexible with showings and open to negotiations.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients, including growing families needing more space, investors looking for profitable opportunities, first time home buyers and students navigating their first housing experience, and elderly individuals who are looking to downsize. I've assisted those going through a divorce, people needing to sell to move out of state for work, and those relocating here from other states. Each client's needs are unique, and I enjoy guiding them through the process.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One recent transaction that stands out to me involved a single father going through a divorce. He was in a tough spot with less-than-great credit and needed a home that would be suitable for him and his children. I was determined to help him find the right place.
Through careful negotiation, I was able to secure a fantastic deal and worked with the sellers to buy down his interest rates, which significantly lowered his monthly payments. Thanks to my preferred lender's support, we made this happen. It was incredibly rewarding to see how this new home brought a sense of stability and comfort to his life and his children's. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
After my children became a bit more independent, I realized it was the perfect time to pursue my passion for real estate. I've always loved the field, and my journey began when I purchased my first home at just 19 years old. That experience opened my eyes to the importance of building wealth through real estate.
Although I never saw myself as a salesperson and still grapple with that aspect, my desire to help people drives me. There’s something incredibly rewarding and fulfilling about accomplishing someone’s real estate goals. This passion fueled my determination to become a realtor, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to make a difference in my clients' lives.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Throughout my real estate career, I've prioritized education and training, acquiring numerous certifications to better serve my clients. Notably, I've earned certifications in luxury homes and Express Offers, which allows me to work effectively with cash investors.
