About Marjorie Patterson

Being a native of Alabama (ROLL TIDE) I always looked forward to our annual vacation to the Florida Panhandle Beaches. After attending the University of Alabama, Huntsville Campus, I joined The Residence Inn Hotel Group in Huntsville. A couple of years into my hospitality career, I was offered a transfer to Altamonte Springs, Florida, which I quickly accepted. Shortly after my relocation to North Orlando/Altamonte Springs, Marriott Hotels purchased the Residence Inn brand. I remained with Marriott International for my entire career. Upon completing a successful career with Marriott International in the hotel division and the vacation ownership division, I decided to use my skill set and wealth of customer service experience to launch my Real Estate Career. My time in both divisions afforded me experience in areas associated with real estate. On the hotel side, I dealt with many families either relocating to or from the areas of the hotel markets that I worked in. Whether selling and moving to another area or buying and moving into a new city, there was always a lot of emotion for them. In the vacation ownership division, our guests were making purchasing decisions to become owners. So often the owners were experiencing excitement coupled with a sense of fear. These years of guest and owner opportunities prepared me for the next phase of my life-a career in Real Estate! Having discovered New Smyrna Beach in 2000, I knew I wanted to call this quaint Florida city home one day. The community has maintained the wholesome beach feeling that I cherish! In November 2016, I moved to New Smyrna Beach with my partner in crime, Brady (a Welsh Corgi) and embarked on my Realtor journey! If you are looking to enjoy all that Southeast Volusia offers, either as a full-time resident, a part-time resident, or as an investor, it would be my pleasure to assist you in finding you the perfect home or condo!
