The experience that I had with Marissa was truly invaluable and one that has forever changed my life for the better.Marissa is without a doubt the reason I became a homeowner in California on a single teacher income. I found a home that I didnt think I had a chance at getting- but Marissa was strategic and worked her charm. Long story short, we beat out 13 other offers and were not the highest by several tens of thousand dollars! Her presentation was extremely professional, and she was extremely creative in writing our offer. After getting our offer accepted, Marissa continued to show up in every way. Even with numerous hurdles, I could rely on her and trust she would do what was in my best interest, something that is hard to find nowadays. My husband and I were on a quick weekend trip to Northern California to visit family and quickly realized that our extended family needed our presence to care for our elderly father. I started searching the website for Zillow homes. I was amazed at how few properties were available, but did find one of interest so I set up a request through Zillow to be paired with a local realtor. We feel so blessed to have been paired with Marissa Mohr. We were initially paired with two other realtors who did not follow through with contacting us as Zillow promised. Finally we had a live person contact us, Marissa Mohr, just the realtor we needed! The home we originally toured was not the type of home we wanted and Marissa was attentive and listened to our comments to understand our needs and preference. Marissa was responsive and available to take us on several in person tours with very little notice and we actually found a house that we thought was the "one". Marissa walked us through the process of making an offer and then a revised offer, but we were not successful. I was disappointed to leave that weekend without success so I continued to search the Zillow website. Marissa was so "ON it" and arranged to do Face Time video tours with me while my siblings went along to give their thoughts. After a few days, I felt bad having Marissa drive all over to show me homes via FaceTime so I told her... "let's take a break". During that break, Marissa offered to write letters to home owners in the area of Benicia that we desired and of course, followed through with that offer. In the mean time, even though I told her that I was taking a break, I peeked on Zillow and found the house of my dreams. Marissa immediately contacted the seller's realtor to arrange a tour the next day. The Face Time tour revealed a home that immediately felt perfect to me. My husband and Iasked Marissa, "what can we do to get this home cuz we really wanted this one?!" Marissa assured us that she would do everything in her power to help us get the home. She recommended us to be pro-active and politely aggressive by making a strong 48 hour offer. She made sure to talk to the seller's realtor to get a feel for what the owners were looking for. We simply followed Marissa's advice and also added some free rentback incentive to the seller and Marissa negotiated for two days until the sellers and ourselves came to an agreement which met the needs of all parties. Two days after our offer was accepted, I finally arranged to go and see the property in person (my husband deferred to my judgement since he saw not red flags in the inspection report or during the FaceTime video tour). To my delight... it was definitely "The One". My siblings thought that my husband and I were a bit crazy to bid on a home we never saw in person. Yes, we may be a little crazy, but I had total trust that Marissa had our best interests in mind. She showed us several homes via FaceTime and was honest to let us know which homes she thought would not be a fit and gave excellent reasons. When Marissa assured us that this house was a "good one" and followed through with sending us copies of inspection reports on the property, we were confident and ready to roll with it. The whole experience of searching for and finding our dream home was fun, exciting and successful with Marissa Mohr and recommend her to any one serious about selling, buying or investing in property!

She is awesome!!! She was there every step of the way which made the intricate process of buying a house for the first time almost easy. From taking a look at different houses, explaining things and terminologies that were new to us to pointing out things that were advantageous to us and helping us avoid the pitfalls of the deal.
