Vicki was an invaluable resource in helping my husband and I buy our dream home. It was our first home and we were totally naive about the process, but Vicki guided us through every step with expertise, patience and kindness. We had unusual needs (we needed a home plus a large amount of workspace to use as artist studios) and were looking at unusual properties (an old synagogue, retail spaces, warehouses). She got it and helped us consider all the options. She knows the area very well and helped us understand the nuances of the different areas we were considering. We went into contract on a house, and when major issues were revealed during the inspection she encouraged us to walk away and keep looking, even though that meant we were back at square one. She counseled us as if we were family, she seemed to truly have our best interests at heart. Her advice was spot on, because we ended up finding a house that was so much better, and cheaper! When we finally found just the right home for us, she seemed as happy about it as we were. We were competing with other bids, and she advised us on how to make a competitive offer without overpaying. When our closing was delayed due to the pandemic, she pulled some strings to make it happen before our mortgage commitment expired. She knows everyone; she recommended a mortgage broker and real estate lawyer who were both wonderful to work with as well. We are recommending Vicki to all of our friends.
