Maria brought so much to the process of selling our family's home in Encinitas CA - honestly a lot more than either of us expected. She guided us on improvements to the home prior to the sale, helping us make decisions on what would bring the best outcome. The renovation process was frustrating, as the contractor our family hired took a lot longer than expected. Maria went to bat for us over and over, remaining patient and very communicative throughout this period. We couldn't have have made a better decision than to engage her! We had hired a company called Curbio to do some renovations to the home prior to the sale. This company was unorganized and unethically non-responsive, putting us through the wringer. What was initially supposed to be a 12 week process ended up taking 9 months of headaches and frustration. We ended up having to work with three different Curbio project managers and three different subcontractors, so it just stretched on. Maria really took the lead as our advocate during this time, making sure that we kept things on track as much as possible. (If it isn't clear - please do not hire Curbio for your own projects unless you want this same type of frustration). The process of selling a home is daunting, even without construction woes. Maria helped us understand all the requirements for legal compliance and guided us through it. When we were finally ready to list, she helped us strategize the sale price so that we could maximize the gain without letting the house sit on market too long. Maria was entirely on top of all the resources she needed to make this happen, as well, with established colleagues for final touches including staging (both interior and landscape), photography, marketing. I should also mention that Maria works with an amazing team at Willis Allen. The broker stepped in on our behalf with Curbio, as well, and the paperwork process was so smoothly handled by her realtor colleague. We ended up so pleased with the results that I'm happy to give a recommendation to Maria and her team. I'm sure we'll be working with her again in the future.
