Rachel was phenomenal! I was a first time home buyer with an incredibly busy work schedule, and Rachel was there for me every step of the way. She was incredibly flexible and available for me. She was constantly working behind the scenes to make sure that all parties were on board (lenders, insurance, agents, HOA, etc) and made sure that I got exactly what I was looking for in terms of neighborhood, style, and price! I was never stressed during this process because Rachel was so on top of any hiccup that arose. Let me start by saying I had lots of anticipatory anxiety and micromanagement dread associated with buying my first ever house, which was a new construction. I'm extremely thankful to say that Rachel put literally all of those qualms to rest. We were acquainted for nearly 6 months as part of the home buying journey. I found Rachel via Zillow. As far as the earlier days, Rachel exemplified expert regional knowledge to convey the different options and possibilities, all while appearing unbiased. She knew the local amenities, timing estimates, local builders and new communities, and information about flood zones. For the middle days, Rachel calmed down my anticipatory anxiety, made it very clear what paperwork and vendors to follow through with. She also answered all of my "dumb" questions about the home buying and building processes, and kept an adequate cadence with me over the long term house buying journey. As far as the later days, after I've locked in with a house and we were fast approaching closing, I had conducted inspections and we had a list of items that we needed the builders to correct. A dreadfully long list. My anxiety and qualms had resurfaced... but they shouldn't have been. Words that I've used to describe Rachel are "lawyer" and "nerd." These are extremely accurate nouns for her. She kept the builders on their toes, maintained our list of concerns, and even fought to include some exceptions to add to the title agency during closing. After moving into the house, she continued to check up to ensure our exceptions list was being properly addressed by the builders. It felt like Rachel assumed all of the stress and burden - and I was just along for the ride and in good hands. Prior to my interactions with Rachel, I kept thinking "what's the point of getting a real estate agent, it's just extra cost, it's a scam, there's recent legislation that works against real estate agents anyways." Rachel was the silver bullet that knocked these thoughts out of my system. If you want a stress free home buying experience, with someone that actively cares, maintains good cadence, and escalates things to C-suite level as needed for various companies involved with the home buying process... I'm happy to say that Rachel can serve as your knight in shining armor.
