I discovered Malcolm through his YouTube channel while doing research to prepare for selling my townhouse. After seeing he was local (only a couple miles away actually) I contacted him about helping me sell my house, and got a quick response.We walked through my house and identified a couple of things to take care of ahead of listing. In a couple of days Malcolm presented comparable townhouses in the area and gave me his honest thoughts on selling price with my goal in mind of selling quickly vs extracting maximum value.The process to market was pretty quick. The online listings looked great and Malcolm's use of a professional photographer really showed. One of the reasons I went with Malcolm is his focus on online advertising (zillow, facebook, etc.) as most people learn about houses through online channels now. The house went on the market on a Friday and Monday evening we were talking through the 7 offers that were made, and there were a ton of visits from Friday -> Monday.In the final process to close Malcolm and his transaction coordinator, Mandy, guided me through the little drama that was encountered. I had some issues getting information from my HOA, and I did not ask, but once I gave Mandy their contact info, the documents arrived in my inbox the next morning.Overall, selling my house was one of the most stressful things I have done recently. Malcolm and Mandy were calm and on top of everything which really helped. If I were staying in the area I would definitely use Malcolm as a buying agent and again to help me sell, if that came up.
