I have worked with Mala twice in the past couple of years. When I was house- hunting in Richmond/El Cerrito/Berkeley in 2020, she was recommended to me by an old family friend who is a retired broker. It was a slog to shop in this competitive market plus early in Covid, but she kept at it and recommended a number of appealing neighborhoods for my relatively low budget. Ultimately I successfully purchased a fantastic house in a great area which I still completely love. Then this year she helped me sell a family member's house which started out as a cosmetic fixer, but we decided to fix it for the sale. She got all the work lined up for us including finding all the materials and appliances and lining up contractors. It turned out great and we got a better price for the home than we ever would have expected. I recommend Mala very highly as both a buyer and seller!

Having a new baby in the house and wanting to move, we were under a lot of pressure already. We needed an agent who could not only handle the job well, but also be counted on to represent our needs as sellers. Mala came highly recommended and was the perfect fit. And when we weren't needed she handled the whole sales process competently and efficiently without any need for us to call and "check in".
