My husband is in the military, and we chose to offer our house in Covington for rent. This was the first house we had owned and were clueless as to the process. We were referred to Lynnette by a friend's mother who is a realtor in Kenner.Our experience with her was excellent. She provided us information on other local listings to help us understand how the rental market was performing and to get an idea on what a fair monthly rent amount would be. She was very diplomatic when she told us our house needed some work in order to improve the chances of finding a renter. She even provided impartial opinions when my husband couldn't agree on something (i.e: leave the curtains up or take them down, paint a room back to a neutral color or not).The only hiccup that detracted from the experience was a conflict of schedules in the beginning when we were ready to proceed with the listing. But, that was more our paranoia/panic about the short amount of time that we had to find a renter. In hindsight, deciding to proceed with the listing just before Memorial Day weekend probably wasn't the best timing. :) Other than that, Lynnette was awesome about working around our schedules and would respond to emails almost immediately. In the end, my husband and I were convinced that Lynnette was our good luck charm. We ended up selling the house through a Bond for Deed. She walked us through that process (again, we were clueless) acted as go-between for us (we had already moved out of state), the buyers, and the escrow company. She was patient with our questions, informative, helpful and optimistic every time we communicated.

We first met Ms. Boudet when we viewed a home she had listed. She was quite congenial and informative yet never once did we ever feel any "sales pressure". That home was not was not suitable but latter that month we saw another listing by a different agent and, because of our pleasant experience, decided to ask Ms. Boudet to show us that home. It was the right decision. She did her homework, was quick to respond to our calls, got the answers we needed, even updated us when we were out of town. She was wonderful during the negotiation process - knowledgeable, detailed, unabashed, and always in our corner.
