So I actually had a different realtor(family friend) in mind when my husband and I started sending each other houses through Trulia. We got married in January and were not in a rush to buy a house but we kept an eye out in case a great deal came our way. There was one house that we were interested in on Trulia and I reached out through the app and was connected to Lu! She gave me all the information on the house and although it wasnt for us, she convinced me to check out other houses in the area the following day! She asked me what we were looking for in a house and in the span of 3 weeks we saw many houses! She was great with choosing houses that were our style and in our budget and gave us advice as first-time homeowners. She understood our circumstances and I could tell right away that she was looking out for our best interest. She was so available and worked around my night shift schedule as a nurse so that we could see houses. Although our family friend was unhappy that I went with another realtor I knew I made the right decision, you can really feel her passion for her career as a realtor! Fast forward to the house that my husband and I fell in love with as soon as we walked in, was everything we wanted in a house and more! Lu could see my eyes brighten up and knew as well! Lu connected me with a great Loan Officer and we began the process. There were ups and downs during the month that we were in the process of buying the house and Lu was present the entire time. She gave advice when needed, laid out all my options, and answered all my questions! The answers she did not know she would reach out to other sources and find out for me. We had difficulty with the other agent but she stood her ground and stood up for my husband and I, which I truly appreciate. There was a plumbing issue with the house and she worked with my husband and I to negotiate a sellers credit so that we could fix the issue! Lastly, on closing day my husband, myself, and my parents all called off work so that we could start the move assuming that we would immediately receive the keys after closing. The closing was at 10am, everything done by noon. While at closing we were told that the sellers refused to give the keys until they saw that the funding went through and they saw the wire in their account. This process takes a while and could even take 24 hours so by 5pm I had anxiety and felt terrible that my family canceled work thinking we would not be able to move anything today. My mom reached out to Lu for me since I was crying and let her know the situation. Luckily for us, Lu reached out to the agent and was able to convince them to release the keys to us!! I am so VERY thankful to you Lu, you went above and beyond. Would HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!
