Living in the foothills of Colorado has been a great experience for our family. My husband, a Marine (Semper Fi), and I, built our own home, and later again, after the 2012 High Park Fire. Our children attended the local "mountain" school. Believe me, you learn a lot of lessons along the way when you are a part of such a small community. It is a great journey to be a part of. One of the main lessons has been that everyone has different needs, so listening becomes very important. Remembering that in my business has helped me be more understanding, more compassionate, and more patient. Over the years, I have volunteered at this same "mountain" school, as well as our local volunteer fire department. I am proud to say, I have been a part of watching it grow into one of the best in Colorado. I believe that giving back to your community helps that community grow and be strong. Today's real estate isn't the same as it was 20 years ago. It used to take 1 or 2 pages to complete purchase. Today, there are not only multiple pages to each contract, but multiple sets of documents. For that reason it is not only important to have understanding and patience, but critical to be knowledgeable and prepared to educate our clients to a different process than they may be used to. Part of my annual business plan is to always include education as a major part of my plan. So my clients will feel confident that I am giving them the most up-to-date information about their transaction. My Mission Statement is: To build lasting mutually beneficial relationships between clients, prospective clients, and community, by delivering exceptional service with sound solutions to their real estate needs.
