I used Lorraine as my listing agent in November because she was supposed to be the #1 realtor in Solivita. Our experience with her was very disappointing. She was very disrespectful of our wishes and what our home was worth and was very reluctant to list it at the price we wanted and then it actually ended up selling for more than asking. Throughout the entire process, Lorraine was unprofessional and condescending, talking down to my husband and me on every conversation we had. I found this frustrating as I am paying her to work for me and she failed to recognize that. Your realtor is there to help you throughout every step of the process and make it easy, but she made it more difficult. We loved and enjoyed our time and neighborhood in Solivita but this experience had us leaving on a sour note.

Today I contacted Lorraine as I needed to find a mortgage broker, she called me back from a cruise-ship and I could notice that she was upset to find out that I was in fact reaching out to get a reference and that I was not wanting to buy a house right away ?First of all I should say that I am planning to buy a house just not right away so here is what I sent to her :Dear Lorraine ,Allow me to tell you that you were rather rude on the phone with me today.I am not responsible for bothering you on a cruise, I thought you were at work .It was up to you not to return the call until you get back to Florida if you decided to do so.I am actually planning to buy another house as well as mentioned so yes I am totally serious. I recently purchased a home in Solivita. Lorraine was my agent and I would not have purchased my perfect home if it wasn't for her knowledge of the area and also being dialed into what I was looking for. I have been coming to Solivita for 4 years staying with friends and knew I wanted to be a resident. I called Lorraine, who a friend recommended, and we meet and went over my criteria. Went back to NY and Lorraine kept in touch with me sending periodically homes meeting my criteria. I came back down the end of October to look at homes that she had sent me and others that I wanted to see. One of the homes I asked to see did not meet my criteria, so when I met her, she said we were going to look at a home that was not on my list but thought I would like and she was so right. I put an offer in a few days later and closed on home the end of December. I can't thank Lorraine enough for showing me this beautiful home and working with me each step of the way until we closed.
