Let me preface this by saying: I am a first-time home buyer, and I am new to Traverse City. I'm a Michigan native, who moved back in late 2020 given the chance to work remotely. It was SO refreshing to work with another Michigander! Patty is also someone who is from Michigan but has experience living in other states, so she understood my taste having spent the last 10 years of my life in Los Angeles. I wanted a California ranch style house, a large yard, and open floor plan, close to town, in an area with access to water. She was incredibly patient with me! What I really loved was her no-pressure approach, and practical perspective on real estate. Her level-headed-ness was exactly what I needed. I started the process wanting to buy a house but found myself much happier looking at property that I could build on. After looking at a dozen or so parcels, we found the location of my dream home :) And, the best thing is, Patty has built several homes herself, so she's been my go-to for building advice! I cannot recommend her enough. If you are selling your home and wanting to appeal to a broader demographic (given the influx of new people like me to Traverse City, moving from states like California, New York, etc.), her perspective and approach are spot-on.
