1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
I always recommend talking to a lender first. It is truly the first step so you don't waste time looking in the wrong price bracket. Make sure you have a third party inspection. Drive through neighborhoods to find a feel good area you want to focus on.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Clean, clean, clean. The preparation of the home is the most important thing I can recommend. If older, hire an inspector so no surprises happen during the negotiation period. I work with a stager to make your home model gorgeous & hire professional photographers to capture the essence of your home.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
International, Domestic Relocation. Having lived overseas for 14 years, I have lots of empathy with buyers & sellers and international moves. It can be very stressful on a family or an individual. Moving is a big thing. We take great care of you!
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my favorite transactions was working with a family moving in from another state because of their job. The father came in to do the actual purchase without the rest of the family. We were able to find a home he felt everyone in the family would love, and sure enough, it passed the test with flying colors when the rest of the family arrived.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
My very dear friend who was a family law attorney started her own brokerage and asked me to join them. She had seen me go through some difficult times and was impressed with my determination and commitment. I went to real estate school and fell in love with the field!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a certified luxury designation, lived overseas in Venezuela & Saudi Arabia for 14 years, speak Spanish fluently, have lived in my area for 47 years so I know Houston pretty well along with all the variety of neighborhoods. It's an awesome place, but you need someone who has been here a while to help navigate the variations in land, neighborhoods, schools, etc.
