Okay - what can we say about Lisa. . . . We cant say enough wonderful things about Lisa and her team - they were exactly what was initially promised and we would recommend them to anyone selling their treasured home. Lisa is an amazing manager, salesperson and therapist - all wrapped up in one powerhouse of a woman. She is the consummate professional who intimately knows the markets she is selling in. She managed everything that needed to happen and when we were not able to resolve a concern - she stepped in and figured it all out. We had some ambivalence about leaving our home of 30+ years throughout this process and Lisa hung in there with us. She worked with us to find the right sale price, she recommended a fabulous real estate attorney, she helped us organize all the things that have to happen to sell a house, she helped us choose the right offer in the end, and she was always pleasant and always available. Her feathers were never ruffled when we disagreed on something but in the end she was usually right. (But dont tell her!) She guided us through a challenging process and kept most of the stress off of our plates which were already full with packing and moving. Lisas reputation precedes her - she deserves the props that she has earned over the years of her work as a realtor. She was just what we had hoped for and happily in the end she got us a really good price on our beloved home too.
Lisa Drapkin and her team were so effective, I had very little to do (or to worry about) to achieve the incredibly successful outcome. I say aEUR~team because that is what she brings. My home was not aEUR~show-room ready by any stretch of the imagination. But that didnt matter because they have experienced staff and proven, trustworthy service providers who transformed my space such that it showed as well as the newer properties. I was around for some of the preparations to sell, but at the time it was about to go on the market, I moved overseas. Not a problem. We were in constant communication through email, WhatsApp, and Zoom. And when I saw the listing, I was amazed by the physical transformation and the professional look of the brochure. Lisa or members of her team were on-site to ensure the condo was ready to show whether it was overseeing contractors, the housecleaning, the stagers, or managing the open houses. Selling my property was a pretty big deal. I wanted to work with someone I could trust, someone with a proven track record, someone who would keep me informed, as involved or not involved as I wanted to be, and, ultimately, to deliver a great outcome. I put my trust in Lisa Drapkin and her team. I'm very glad I did.
Lisa, Jenn and the entire team were amazing to work with on selling my home! They explained everything so I knew what was coming (but was never overwhelmed). They had great advice throughout the entire process and were extremely helpful getting the house ready for sale. They not only found painters, stagers and electricians to prep the house, but ran the whole show and made sure everything was done well. The process from offers to closing went smoothly, and we couldnt be happier with the end result. Great communicators, very organized and were so nice to work with. I cant imagine a better end to end selling experience than I got with Lisa, Jenn and the team.
I first met Lisa when I purchased a property in Somerville. Lisa represented the seller. From the opposing perspective I was immediately impressed with not just her professionalism but also her easygoing manner. In the negotiations, in reading the participants, she probably improved the result for her client by a significant amount. I knew then that Id want Lisa to represent me if and when I sold this same property.I was not disappointed. Lisa was a pleasure to work with. I want to extend this to all the members of her team as well. They were efficient, knowledgeable, thorough, and generous of their time and resources in getting the property sold for a better than expected amount in a difficult market.There are several stages in selling a property and Lisa and her team were indispensable to the success of each. I'm listing them here to impress that theres a lot more than you may think might be involved in the sale of a property-Preparation- Determining what renovations made sense, staging, contractor recommendations, getting together all necessary documents, pricing, selling materials, hands on follow up with visits at each stage to make sure everything is perfectShowings)-Open houses, follow up with potential buyers and, important in this case, monitoring the changing market conditions to stay ahead of the curve. This includes reaching out to her network of fellow realtors to help get the most information possible.Negotiations- once again I felt that Lisas recommendations resulted in a significant increase in the sale price, this time to my benefit. There were also issues raised by the inspection. Lisa helped negotiate these successfully to everyones satisfaction.Closing- At my request, Lisa recommended several attorneys. I was very pleased with the work that the attorney did. She scheduled the staging removal, fire department inspection and final walk through.When youre choosing a realtor to sell your home, you are choosing a partner in one of the most important events of your life. In all respects Lisa always felt like a partner. I recommend her without reservation.
I have known Debbie since 2014, when she helped us buy our first condo in Somerville. We came back to her in 2020 with the purchase of our next single family home in Belmont. Debbie is simply great. Debbie is a superb buyers agent. Shes professional, puts her clients first and works extremely hard to help them find what they want. Shes supportive, committed, patient, has extensive knowledge about the market and housing stock, knows all the details to focus on when evaluating property. She made sure she understood what we were looking for and used our criteria to evaluate each property. Viewings were scheduled quickly and all questions were answered. She discretely made sure we saw both the plusses and minuses as we made selections. This was extremely helpful to our decision making. Her judgment was right on target. Shes an amazing information gatherer and provides excellent guidance when making an offer. She had all the information we needed to complete the process of finding and buying a house from start to finish and made everything easy. Her commitment continues beyond purchase. Were grateful that we had such strong and high quality support. We couldnt be happier with our experience. Shes the very best possible buyers agent and I recommend her highly.
Holden is the best there is. We looked for a new home for a long time and saw over 30 properties before we decided on one. As our buyer's agent, Holden patiently guided us through this process. Although we changed our minds and requirements repeatedly, he always advocated for us and never questioned our indecisiveness as we moved from one kind of property to another and across many different areas . He always responded immediately to our requests, arrived where and and when he said he would, and provided tons of information to us that seller's agents could not. He followed up on every question we asked, and we asked many. On the rare occasions that he didn't already know the answer to something, he never pretended he did and always tracked down the needed information, however much work it took, not just to satisfy us, but also to enhance his own already-considerable knowledge of technical, legal, and market-oriented subjects. He prepared pricing studies for us, set up showings on short notice in advance of open houses, pointed out potential problems before we thought of them, and did many many other things that made the stressful process of buying a home much less so. Even after we'd been moved in to our new home for several months, we called on him to help us with various problems that arose and to get his advice. He has a great personality, always seems to be in a good mood even when things are going wrong for him, and gets along with everyone no matter how difficult and demanding they may be. You will be very lucky to have Holden as you agent.
Lisa Drapkin was refered to us by a friend and we were thrilled with her and her team. We first started working with both Lisa and Dana in January 2020. We had orginally planned on selling the house in the spring 2020 market. Then COVID happened and all our plans went on hold. Lisa and Dana successfully guided us through selling a house in a pandemic in late summer 2020. Our decision, at their recommendation, to stage the house and move prior to putting the house on the market was brilliant. It gave us the peace of mind that the house could be shownat any time without distrupting us. Lisa and Dana 'energy priced' the house and we had multiple offers within 5 days. We acccepted an offer and were able to close prior to the Presidential Election. Lisa and Dana are a first-rate team who handled my condo sale, from soup to nuts, in the middle of Covid. They knew how much staging needed to be done and arranged it, had first-rate and responsible workmen for minor repairs, arranged professional photos and the advance marketing. They were on top of all details, always knew what the next step should be, and kept things moving briskly. Most importantly, they were very savvy about setting a sale price and negotiating among competing offers. We got higher than asking, in the middle of a very uncertain real estate market. They are strategists, can-do-it gals, and counselors, but tough when needed. What more can you ask for?
