1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Always use an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). I earned this designation because I fulfilled the requirement of selling over 10 homes back in the year 2000, my first year as a licensed Realtor. I work with the very lender and title company there is.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Definitely always a full-time, experienced Realtor. I feel that I definitely keep getting better with each year. Throughout my 19 years, I've learned to smoothly deal with every hurdle which may be encountered from the listing phase through the contract negotiations, inspections and closing phases.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Since 2000, I have represented every type of buyer and seller there is, from a $29,000 manufactured home to a famous $2,200,000 landmark in the Catalina Foothills. Being a Realtor isn't for everyone, but it definitely fits my personality. I'm patient, honest, reliable and extremely knowledgeable of our real estate market.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I am fond of all my clients. Recently, a seller called me. They had been through two other agents who hadn't been able to sell their home. They were very frustrated because they had already bought another home which was due to close in just a month. I listed, heavily marketed the home and sold it for them in just 7 days. They were extremely happy and said they wished they had called the first time.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I worked for attorneys for many years as a paralegal in probate, real estate, and contract law. My legal backyard has really been helpful. I met a Broker who encouraged me to get my real estate license. I received my license in 2000. I've enjoyed each and every client and transaction. It continues to be a fascinating job for me.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. I am an Associate Broker, GRI, ABR, MRE, ALHS, Senior Specialist. I am up to date and compliant with all required education, such as Legal Issues, Contract Law, Agency Law, Fair Housing, Broker Management Clinics I, II, and III. I regularly attend seminars and meetings to keep abreast of new develops in financing and the market in general.
