It?s very easy to find a realtor. It?s much harder to find a good realtor. Lea Gonzalez, however, is an EXCEPTIONAL realtor. Hands down, Lea is the best realtor I?ve worked with in 20 years of buying and selling homes. One of the most important traits for an effective realtor is communication. Lea is incredibly responsive to phone calls and texts, and always displayed the highest level of patience and kindness with the many questions that popped up during the process from my wife and I. Perhaps more importantly, she clearly and effectively conveyed our offers and counteroffers (as the buyer) to the listing agent and then provided immediate feedback on their response. This greatly reduced uncertainty while in the middle of negotiations and provided me with the information I needed to press forward with appropriate concessions from the seller. What impressed me the most with Lea is her genuine care and desire to be an advocate for her client?s best interests. She aggressively fought for every opportunity to save me money in the process. Time and again I saw her go above and beyond the level of effort that most realtors would have put in to a real estate deal and push back at needless fees from contractors performing repairs on the property, the title company processing our transaction, and other miscellaneous costs that popped up in the process. I was blown away while I watched her negotiating skills aggressively drop the purchase price of the home, knowing that this would decrease her commission once the sale was complete. However, Lea did it with a smile on her face and seemed genuinely proud of how much money she saved us! Professional skills aside, Lea is a genuinely warm and caring person. At one point while we were waiting for the closing date on our new house the area was gripped by an ice storm. Knowing that we were out of the area and the house was sitting vacant, Lea took it upon herself to take time from her busy schedule and come over and turn on the faucets to prevent damage to the pipes. My wife and I were blown away at the level of attention and care that she took at every step of the process, and this is just one small example of the caliber of Lea?s character. I hope to not have to move again for many years, but if I do there?s no chance I?d use anybody but Lea for any real estate dealings. Lea Gonzalez has my highest recommendation, and you?d be hard pressed to find another realtor that comes close to her in terms of personality and realtor skills.
