As hard as this house hunting process is, Laurie makes it painless and effortless. She is very knowledgeable and experienced, and NOT PUSHY, which to me and my husband was very important. She listened to what we were looking for and gave us constant updates if something new came out. Gave me great opinion when I asked her, and in general helped us find our dream home. We had one house before this one that we were not sure to give or not give an offer, and I told Laurie how I do not have good feeling and how my stomach hurts almost, and she said :"Sometimes you just have to listen to your gut. Laurie was of great assistance in selling my mothers house. We called her the Friday before the Thanksgiving weekend telling her we wanted to sell the house aEUR~as-is. She quickly visited the house to assess its value, produced reports to guide us in selecting an asking price, and arranged for a professional photographer to come shoot the house. Because the house was empty, she also engaged someone to virtually furnish some of the photos to show its potential. Her description of the house was exactly what I wanted. It was my childhood house with great memories and a house that has so much to offer the next family. She accomplished this all by the day after Thanksgiving and had the house listed that Saturday. To me this was a major feat and unexpected due to the complications of the holiday week. She had been adamant that we should take advantage of the holiday weekend and got it done. We had our first offer within 4 hours of the house being listed, from its first showing. She continued to update us on feedback from the various showings throughout the weekend even though it was a holiday which just showed us more of her dedication. By Tuesday after Thanksgiving, she recommended choosing from the several very good offers on the table and broke down the offers for us. She explained the advantages of each offer versus the potential of the house and made selecting the winning offer very easy.She was recommended to me by extended family because of the excellent work she had done on their sale and I will recommend Laurie Murray to others.
