MS. LAUREN OVERTON CALL GETS AN A+++++++++ RATING FROM ME!!!!!Through experience of rendering excellent service over the years, I know one is lucky to get a verbal thank you let alone have a review written for a job well done. However, we are quick to complain in writing even lf we perceived something didnt go 100% our way. Hence, as a retired army officer, we were trained to give attaboys to insure our subordinates know that we recognize their dedication and outstanding performance. With that said, I would be remiss if I didnt take a moment to rave about the consummate professionalism of Ms. Lauren Call and the company she works for, (Going Coastal Realty).I had a home for rent for months through another REAL ESTATE COMPANY and nothing happened. I decided to give Ms. Call a call from a conversation I had with her via phone a year ago. Here is the absolute truth and I have the documents to prove it. Upon the inspection of my rental property and Ms. Call observations/advice, within 3 days of signing a contract with Going Coastal Realty I had two inquires of tenants interested in renting and someone interested in purchasing. And within 10 days of signing that contract tenants were moved in and super happy. The difference between it sitting for several months with another real estate company versus Going Coastal Realty is simply the dedication, professionalism and commitment to excellence/outstanding service of MS. LAUREN OVERTON CALL. I am so pleased and impressed with Ms. Calls professionalism and that of Going Coastal Realty that I just had another home listed by them recently. I have never seen such professional photos that literally speaks to the narrative written. Being almost 500 miles away from my properties I am blessed and very thankful to have the aforementioned company and Ms. Call as my property manager. In closing, a seed of expectation was obviously planted and Ms. Call is living evidence that it was nurtured, mentored and cared for because she is not only great at her profession, but never lost site of the professional decorum it takes to always remember the human element. These are the medals I would give you for your outstanding service????
Pay no attention to the 1 star review below - I have been dealing with Lauren for the past 3 years with rental properties and she has been nothing but fantastic! I've come to know many people in Georgetown who have dealt with Lauren through real estate transactions - all have nothing but positive remarks about her!
THE BEST!!When my wife and I were looking to move to Georgetown, SC, I went to Zillow and got agent information. I called three agents and left messages. Lauren was the first to return my call and were glad she did. We arranged a visit and Lauren spent HOURS with us showing available properties, providing information on all the properties that might be of interest to us, and giving us a guided tour of Georgetown. Before leaving, we asked for additional information on some properties. We received that information in a timely manner. We made another trip to Georgetown to narrow our choices and Lauren spent HOURS with us. Once we made our decision, Lauren took control and pulled everything together, so that all we had to do was show up for the closing. It couldnt have been easier (which was quite nice, since we lived 600 miles away). During the moving and settling-in process, Lauren and the folks at Going Coastal Realty couldnt have been more helpful. We HIGHLY recommend Lauren Call aEUR" GREAT EXPERIENCE!
Lauren sold us our house back in August and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was patient while my husband and I were picky and insisted on our checklist of things we needed. She was patient, well-educated on homes in our area, and very willing to acoomodate us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!
I moved to Georgetown in early 2018 and needed to find a place for my dog and me. I couldn't find a rental and decided to buy. A coworker recommended Lauren Call. She was very sweet and I was feeling good about things at first. The home I purchased was the 3rd home Lauren showed me. I told her I wanted a home inspection done prior to making my 2nd offer to know what I was getting myself into. The inspector I used was one Lauren recommended. He told me the home was in good condition for its age. I was working fulltime and trusting the hired professionals to do their jobs. Based on what Lauren and the inspector said about the home, I decided to continue bidding. During the bidding process, you put a deadline to reply. When mine passed, I inquired with Lauren about getting something signed because she told me the sellers had agreed to the price. She stated she knew the sellers and their realtor and I didn't really need to have a signed contract. I reached out to a past realtor who advised I should insist Lauren do a new contract and insist the sellers sign it, without it the sellers could accept a different offer. I was in a desperate situation to find a home, and was trusting in my paid real estate agent to advocate for me. When she did get the new, signed contract, we set the closing date. I was so excited to move into my new home and have my dog with me againaEUR|. Until my neighbors informed me my home flooded. Lauren had told me the flood maps changed and the home was no longer in a flood zone. She stated it was in an X zone and I didn't need flood insurance. Based on her advice, and the sellers' disclosure form that stated no flood hazard, no drainage issues and no water damage, I did not get flood insurance, and not required to by my lender, who was also recommended by Lauren. I tried to get flood insurance and was initially blocked by FEMA because the home had FOUR prior flood claims. I reached out to Lauren, who stopped replying to me, and I have not heard from her in over 2 months. Georgetown has less than 9,500 residents, and Lauren live 1-2 blocks from my house. I am now stuck with a home that floods, and Lauren claims to not know anything about the house flooding. She has not tried to reach out to me and help. I cannot fathom how she sleeps at night knowing she sold me a home that floods!! How would she feel if the people she was trusting and paying to advocate for her and find her a dream home, instead put her in a home that has FOUR flood claims against it and is a documented Repeated Loss Property with the city! Then when she tried to reach out to the very person who sold her the place for help, assuming they made an honest mistake and would want to make the situation right, were instead ignored. I beg anyone thinking of using Lauren Call to instead find a real estate agent with more experience and knowledge of the local community, and who will represent their best interest at all cost. My situation is horrible, and I would feel even worse if I didnt say something and this happened to someone else. Since writing this review, the broker-in-charge has been in contact and I am hopeful.
Lauren is very knowledgeable of the area and she is very good at what she does. As first time buyers, Lauren walked us through intimidating processes of buying a house and made it seem easy. She happily showed us numerous houses before we decided on our home. I highly recommend choosing her to help you.
Don't know any of the above cause I have never got a response from her or any agent in sc except for 1
Lauren is a professional in every sense of the word. Very knowledgeable and responsive . Knows her market well and accessible anytime. She showed me several homes in my price range. She had easy comparables, and exposed me to several neighborhoods outside my initial area of interest.
Lauren is great, she listens to your needs/wants and provides great opportunities. She is flexible and low pressure. Even if you are just looking she is happy to help you look!
