I met Laura through my brother who buys rental houses and has been with her for several years and has always spoke so highly of her. I, on the other hand, have bought only one house in my entire life and it was 40 years ago as a young newly wed. And after I divorced I have only rented for the last 30 years. As it turned out however, a dear friend friend left me his mobile home after he passed away. I was so happy I was going to own my own home, but there were so many things I did not know and one of them was that a mobile home park can refuse you as a tenant for many reasons and as much as my new home meant to me, the park refused me because I am on disability and they said I could not afford to live there. I was devastated! So, now I would have to sell my home that was given to me right after the loss of my dear friend and then immediately find another to buy. I admit I am a very emotional person any way but this was one of the worst experiences in my life. I was hurt and angry and feeling helpless and it was at this time that my brother called Laura and I could not have been more blessed! I am pretty sure Laura didn't feel as blessed after she met me, as I really was a mess and did not have a clue what I was doing! But thankfully Laura knew everything! I adored her from the first day we met! This letter could easily become a book , but I will try not to go on and on and on. Here is the point. Laura took me by the hand, she told me what to do every step of the way, she was available to me at all times, she always made me feel like I was the most important person in the world to her. We met at the beginning of February of 2020, my friend had passed only 4 1/2 months prior, the park manager was nasty, threatening me all the time and because of Laura and her patience, understanding, energy to go to bat for me, keep my energy up when it was failing, always teaching and encouraging me it turned out that I was able to get ( with the help of my brother and my 3 children and their spouses) all of 30 years of my friends belongings packed up and passed to his children and to shelters and so on. Laura arranged for workers to come in and fix up the outside of the home, got the most amazing house cleaner and carpet cleaner to come in, and had the home looking fabulous in a way I had never imagined. It went on the market April 13, 2020. We got a full price offer the next day! Laura and my brother and I were all surprised and elated. The sale closed on the last day of April and had gone off without a hitch! Then my brother warned me that buying another home would not be as easy so don't get my expectations up too high. The first mobile homes Laura sent me , in truth, I barely looked at. I was very happy my friends home had sold so quickly, I was still devastated that I would not be living in the home he intended me to actually live in. So in a day or so I got a call from Laura who by now I considered a dear friend and she gave me the much needed pep talk to get me up and going. The next homes she sent were a list of only 3 or 5 maybe, but the first one on the list I kept coming back to. It was totally me! Lots of trees and plants and windows and kinda funky like me. I called my friends daughter who had given me his home (his daughter is like a sister to me and she had met Laura several times as well). His daughter came and met me and we went to look at this place, mind you only 15 minutes from all my kids!!! As we drove into the park I knew what my friends daughter and Laura had been telling me was true- there was a reason for all that happened, the right and perfect place was out there for me! And when we pulled in the park my friend said " This has "you" written all over it!" I called Laura from the car and she made an appointment to go through it the next day. I had to have it! I said prayers and tried to calm myself in case it didn't happen but on June 5th, 2020, my sweet little home became mine! There were so many people to be grateful to, my friend who left me his home, his 3 daughters and his girlfriend who followed his wishes, my children and friends who packed and moved things out of his home, my dear brother who supported me in every way and most of all, sent me my Angel Agent, which is what my name for Laura is now. Laura is amazing at what she does! She knows everything about her job, she is sweet and kind and respectful but she can also be tough when she needs to be. She is never rude, she doesn't need to be, she knows her stuff so if she challenges something you can know she knows she is right. She has a work ethic that is the kind we don't often see any more and she is fair. Not once did I feel she was trying to pull something over on anyone, on our side or the other. Laura is a good person. And Laura did all this miraculous work for me, knowing that in the grand scheme of things she would make only pennies. This is who Laura is. A human with a huge heart! I will be grateful to my Angel Agent forever!
