Kuwana was great. She shared her knowledge of the entire home buying process. This was critical as my wife and I were first time buyers. Kuwana showed us houses, but also gave insight during our search. You would be hard pressed to find a better real estate agent in the south burbs.

Very helpful during and after the home buying process. Daily updates great houses to choose from. If you are in Chicagoland area make sure you look her up.

Kuwana Norman was my Sellers Agent for the sale of a two flat and Buyers Agent for the purchase of my new home. She wore both of these hats simultaneously, very well and she truly had our best interest in both situations.Do not let her youthful appearance fool you, she is a no nonsense women and very efficient in getting the job done. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and she takes her work very serious. Kuwana was able to assess our situation and handled it with the skills of a seasoned professional. We will always think of Kuwana Norman as our Broker because she is true to her word and she was never too busy for our needs or our referrals.
Answered Questions
Tim, The only real difference is that a Realtor is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and must comply with at code of ethics and take ethics training periodically. All real estate agents do not have to be members of NAR, but most are members.
Hi Gill, Great question. You should use a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) from a Realtor to help you price your home. The CMA will include comparable properties that are listed, sold and/or under contract. The sold listing will tell you what similar homes have sold for in your area. You should price your home within the range of the sold homes, factoring in the features, benefits and condition of your home, relative to the sold homes. The Realtor who provided the CMA can provide guidance in analyzing the CMA. Also, if you like the Realtor and trust that they can help you sell it, you should list you home with them. I hope this helps!
I would need to know what area of the city/neighborhood the property is located. Message me if you still need assistance.
Hello Taylor I would not recommend using all of you cash. You might need some cash in an emergency or if an unexpected expense arises. Consider putting down a significant deposit and financing the rest. You can always pay it off early over a period of time instead of paying for it all at once. Good luck!
A home appraisal could cost several hundred dollars, depending on factors such as property size and location. You should call a few places in your area to get quotes.
Viviana, You should contact a local Realtor to help you determine the current value of the house and evaluate if you have enough equity to sell without taking a loss or having to do a short sale.
Eric, You should discuss your concerns with the broker and request a shorter term. In my experience, commercial properties generally take longer to sell than residential, but there are always exceptions. Good luck!
