About Krystal Keck
Krystal Keck is one of the most dedicated and committed real estate agents in the nation. In 2020, Krystal earned her Florida Broker's license and opened a second KORE Team office in Fort Myers, Florida with Jones & Co. Realty. In 2016, Krystal became the first REALTOR(R) in the state of Ohio to earn a Master's Degree in Real Estate (MRE). Krystal earned her MRE from Columbia College. Her degree focus was on Residential Sales, Marketing and Brokerage Management. And in 2014, Krystal earned her Ohio Broker's license. Krystal is currently the principal Broker of the Jones & Co Realty Ohio Office. Krystal is a designated REALTOR member of the National Association of REALTORS(R), Ohio REALTORS(R), Florida Association of REALTORS(R), Royal Palm Coast REALTORS(R) Association, and has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Medina County Board of REALTORS(R) both in 2013-2015 and in 2018-2021. In 2015, Krystal earned the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification and earned the e-Pro Certification. And in 2020, she earned the Pricing Strategy Advisor Certification (PSA) and earned her Commitment to Excellence (C2EX). In 2021, she was awarded the Certified Real Estate Team Specialist (C-RETS) certification, the premier team credential in the country. And in 2022, she earned the Resort Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification. Most recently, in 2024 she earned her Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR). Due to Military transfers and life changes, Krystal has a variety of Real Estate experience from working for Pembroke Commercial Realty, Rose & Womble Realty Company, London Properties, Ltd., Red Mountain West Properties, Drees Homes, Realty One/Howard Hanna, Stouffer Realty/BHHS and now Jones & Co. Realty. Krystal grew up in Parma, Ohio, but has lived in Virginia, California and now Florida. Krystal has held a real estate license in all four states. In 2014, in order to increase her services to her Clients, Krystal successfully formed a Real Estate Team called The KORE Team. Krystal currently only runs the KORE Team in Ohio and Florida. 1. Get Pre-Approved or have your Financing Ready: Start by getting pre-approved for a mortgage. This not only helps you understand your budget but also shows sellers you’re a serious buyer. It gives you an edge in competitive markets. Ensure your money is available when you need it.
2. Clarify Your Priorities: Identify your "must-haves" versus "nice-to-haves." Knowing your non-negotiables helps narrow your focus and keeps you grounded, especially if you see several properties.
3. Work with an Experienced Agent: Partner with a knowledgeable agent who can guide you through the nuances of the market, negotiate on your behalf, and keep you informed every step of the way. Real estate is full of details, and having someone experienced in your corner can save you both time and stress.

Pricing it right from the beginning is key; an experienced agent can help you set a competitive, market-based price. The market is changing and understanding that is vital! Lastly, be flexible with showings and keep an open mind on feedback; small adjustments can make a big difference in a buyer’s perception. With the right approach, you’ll attract serious offers and maximize your return.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I began my career in real estate through property management, where I quickly advanced and realized my aptitude for the field. While working full-time and completing my bachelor’s degree full-time, I took a real estate course as my final elective. I found it fascinating and, after graduation, earned my real estate license and wholeheartedly committed to the industry. It was a decision I’ve never looked back on, and I’m grateful to have turned a passion into a fulfilling career.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I’m incredibly proud of the “alphabet soup” of designations I’ve earned—MRE, MRP, e-PRO, PSA, C2EX, C-RETS, RSPS, ABR—which represent a commitment to deepening my expertise across all facets of real estate. Each designation has equipped me with unique skills, from military relocation and digital marketing to advanced negotiation and second-home transactions. This comprehensive background enables me to serve clients at a higher level, bringing specialized knowledge to every interaction and ensuring they benefit from the latest strategies and industry standards. My masters degree in real estate was focused on sales, marketing and brokerage management. It was one of the hardest and best accomplishments in my life. I am one of very few professionals with a masters degree in real estate.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients in both residential and commercial real estate. My passion, however, lies in residential real estate, where I love helping people invest in their future and find their dream homes. Whether assisting first-time buyers and sellers or guiding seasoned clients, I am dedicated to making each transaction smooth and successful. I take pride in navigating the unique nuances of every market and tailoring my approach to meet each client's specific needs and goals.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
A recent transaction that stands out to me was with a veteran client who had been discouraged by others, repeatedly hearing that sellers wouldn’t accept VA loans. I stepped in, confident that we could find not only the perfect home but also a seller who would respect and welcome their VA benefit. As a Navy wife for 20 years, it’s deeply personal and meaningful for me to help veterans achieve their real estate goals. I take great pride in serving those who have served, and it was truly my honor to guide this client to a successful purchase.
