I started in the industry over 13 years ago as a loan processor. I eventually owned a loan processing company and worked with brokers nationwide. After 3 years, I decided to use my extensive underwriting and processing skills to become a loan officer. I still continue to work as a Mortgage Loan Professional as well as Real Estate. My experience is unique because I can creatively structure deals due to my background. I have worked closely with investors doing wholesale deals as well as the typical home buyer. I pride myself in working with Sellers to accomplish their goals and being able to sell most homes within 2-3 weeks.

1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Always get pre-qualified first. Make sure that your loan officer is well scripted in underwriting guidelines.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Consider listing with someone who has access to cross qualifying all buyers. The last thing you want to do is waste your time because the Buyers are properly qualified.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
All types. I've worked with Veterans doing VA loans. Reverse mortgage purchases. Conventional and FHA Buyers. 1st time Home Buyers. Grant programs for down payment assistance. I've worked with Sellers and got them all cash buyers. I have experience in listing homes that typically sell within weeks.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
It always makes me happy when I can get people into their dream home. I have a young couple that recently were able to buy their first home. Handing over the keys is an amazing feeling.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started in the business 13 years ago doing administrative work in the mortgage industry. I eventually became a loan officer and did both loans and real estate.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
The fact is that most Realtors don't have a true understanding of underwriting guidelines. This is my background so I definitely am able to use this toward my clients advantage.
