About Kristen Schramme
Hello, my name is Kristen Schramme and I am a mother, big sister and team leader of Team Kristen Schramme. I started my real estate career back in 2006 and soon joined the most powerful real estate brokerage firm in the nation, Keller Williams Realty. After paying my dues working for other teams I advanced my knowledge through BOLD real estate classes and began building up my own personal client base. In 2009 I fought through the great recession working hard while other Realtors vanished. Times were tough through 2011 but I continued to never give up and in 2012 I was headed for the top of Keller Williams. In 2013 my husband and I began building a team, comprised of full time, Christ-centered, college educated Realtors who's main priority was to treat people as more than a client; treating them as family. We love San Antonio and are active in volunteering year round. We also donate a portion of our commission from every sale to a non-profit organization of our client's choice. When someone is in need we are there to help. God has blessed us for our hard work and caring values and we'll never stop giving. We are currently ranked a top 3 real estate company in the entire city. In 2020 we closed out 371 units totaling $130.6 million in sales. I'm a University of Texas-Austin Corporate Communication graduate and love Longhorn and Cowboys football, working out and spending time with friends and family. 2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Only hire the best! The cheap discount Realtors cost you time and money. The longer your home is on the market the more you are paying in mortgage payments, electric bills etc. This adds up! Don't go with the cheapest Realtor in this market! Go with experience and someone who is going to be 100% honest with you through the entire process. Our marketing is the best. We even own our own marketing agency that runs our business growth division so that our clients only get the best when it comes to marketing and advertising their home for sale.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
We work with all levels of Military, job relocation along with first time home buyers, seasoned investors and clients who live overseas. We speak both English and Spanish and can assist with those needing help coordinating home repairs before going on the market or interior design services for buyers just moving in! We help with everything!
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We recently helped a family purchase a home for their son in the Texas Hill Country. There were many challenges along the way and we conquered all of them. In the end we found out that the owner of Keller Williams Realty was best friends with these clients of ours and he reached out and shared a glowing review about how well we took care of his best friends. That was an amazing experience!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
In 2006 I started in new home sales working for Meritage Homes. In 2007 my best friend and I decided to get licensed in Real Estate. We worked open houses every weekend and door knocked looking for buyers to pair with our listings. In 2010 my husband started a marketing company and I was his first client. Our business has grown from 40 homes a year to now over 500 homes per year through hard work, grit, determination and wonderful marketing that we offer our sellers when selling their home.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
We love working with all clients and we find that military families, high level corporate clients and seasoned investors love our expertise. We are avid investors ourselves and host investing, home buying, home selling and tax protest seminars throughout the year. We have so much knowledge from many years in real estate and we love sharing that knowledge with others!
