One of my two best assets is that, I am a genuine, down to earth kind of gal and I'm a great listener. Sounds simplistic, but when you're looking to buy or sell a piece of property, a good listener who is sincere and honest is the person who can help you get what you need and want. I have those qualities.My name is Kris Kendall, and I've been coming to and living in the Columbia River Gorge since 1996. I came to settle in the Hood River area for many reasons, but it was only after I had that I became completely aware of what a wonderful place the Columbia Gorge areas really are. Not only is there such a sense of culture, humanity and family here in the Gorge, but for miles and miles in any direction, I can chose from hundreds of hiking or riding trails in mountains or rain forest, find fresh snow and ski high alpine mountains, trail run and horseback ride in the eastern desert area or beautiful green orchard valleys, kayak, kite surf, windsurf, or water-ski the river for miles in any direction, pitch a simple tent under the stars at a state park camp site, fish the river for fresh steelhead and salmon. The choices for enjoying the outdoors and nature are endless.I cannot imagine a better place to have settled and called home. The small communities throughout the Gorge offer the type of intimacy that is unique and rare in this day and age of development and growth. I can honestly say that I have not ever had so many wonderful friends who have come to be as close and supportive as family. One of the biggest assets of the Columbia River Gorge is just that, that feeling of true community. In my opinion, although diverse, the residents who live here are appreciative of the natural beauty and surroundings the Gorge offers, love being physically healthy active and have a vested interest in family as it relates to the community. All of those characteristics are fantastic and make the area even more desirable.For me, I truly enjoy helping people settle here and share in this wonderful experience of calling The Gorge home. It is an amazing place to live, raise a family, work and play! I have been working full time as a Realtor 6 years now and I love the challenges it brings and the fulfillment of helping people find what they are dreaming of in real estate.
