In her first career, in banking, Kris, who's "great with numbers," worked in customer service and loans. In addition to her daily interactions with the public, she gained a valuable understanding of the ins and outs of real estate lending. For her next career, Kris was a contractor and owned Kountry Side Home Improvements, which gave her a first-hand knowledge of the many ins and outs of home construction. Again, working closely with customers, she handled all the daily details of her business, negotiated contracts, and interacted with insurance companies and scores of vendors. Her attentive service and excellent follow-through earned Kris a devoted following of repeat and referral clients (many of whom now rely on her for real estate service). At the same time, she purchased and improved properties of her own, experiencing the real estate market from both sides. Finally, before launching her real estate career in 2010, Kris maintained a waterfront resort, learning about life on the water and giving her a special appreciation for Wisconsin's 15,000+ lakes. Today, working out of First Weber's Oshkosh office, Kris Janasik specializes in Fox Valley properties of all types: waterfront, residential, new construction, condos, and land. Working with her son, Kyle Kehoe, as The Ideal Team, Kris has been earning awards for her production and service since her first year in real estate. With a Completion in a Home Inspection Master Course, Kris is also an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and an expert in home staging. "I stage my clients' homes for sale," Kris says, "and most clients that I do this for want me to stage their new home as well!"
