Kevin is absolutely fantastic! He guided us through the sale of our current home and purchase of our new home. Given that this can be a stressful transition, in a fast paced and competitive market, I cant thank him enough for making the process as easy as possible. He was readily available and willing to address any questions or concerns that we had throughout the entire process. If your looking for a fantastic agent I highly recommend Kevin.
Kevin knows Clifton! We are so impressed with Kevins quick response for showing requests and for his industry knowledge. He is a straight shooter, and he will work hard for you to try and make your deal come together. We cant say enough positive things about his professionalism and follow through.
Didn't seem to be able to get answers on key contract issues as a buying agent. I had to have him re-send earnest money info because we never received it even though he said he sent it. He did pay to have a hot tub removed when sellers were being difficult, which was nice. He told me he would be there at inspection, then doesn't show up until we called him in a panic. After the fact he tells me it's a conflict for him to be there? NOT ok. To add insult to injury, after leaving him an average review of 3 stars on Google, he again responds with his excuses, falsely claims I left a nasty review for painters that he recommended, then has the painters bump his reviews up and he for them. My review of the painters was mild compared to the service I actually recieved. I am still cleaning overspray from windows, door knobs, and blinds because they did not tape those things when spraying the ceiling. Thank goodness they did clean the tub and showers that had overspray on them. So, this time, I'm giving him 2-stars. Unprofessional, seemed preoccupied, and is defamatory in his response to my initial review. Maybe he is an attentive selling agent, but as a buyer's agent, I was not impressed. We handed him this deal and I expected more. Buyer beware.
Kevin went above and beyond his normal duties as real estate agent. Not only did he have accurate knowledge about the market, he referred us to capable and effective contractors to perform repairs. He also gave advice about which improvements to make and which not to make that proved to be perfectly accurate. We had a lot of items that needed to be removed from the garage and a storage shed. He provided a vehicle and assistance in removing larger materials from the property. When, on the day of closing, the buyer insisted for the first time that all property in the garage be removed, including a lawnmower, rakes, wallpaper stripping equipment, paint used in the interior and tiles, grout and tiling materials needed if repairs were to be made to tile or grout, Kevin removed the materials himself. Had he not, and I had been required to remove them, the closing would have been postponed.
We knew Kevin for many years before we worked with him to buy our new house and sell our old house. Our kids went to school together, so we were able to get to know him on a personal level, as a good guy and someone we could trust. There were a lot of details that required an in-depth knowledge, Kevin always provided that knowledge. He also provided good advice and was up front to explain his role as a representative for both buyer and seller (dual agent) , when we bought our new house. If he ever gets out of real estate, he would make a good diplomat. It was a pleasure to work with him.
So, I know Kevin personally, but was hesitant to use. You know, working with friends sometimes they get lazy and make assumptions. Let me just say, Kevin was very attentive to my needs and questions. Stayed in front of any questions that came up and made suggestions on negotiations. Helping me with my sale of my personal home and took us to look at homes for us to buy. Unfortunate for Kevin, we decided to purchase my parents home. Kevin never stopped, making sure we had everything we needed. Always professional, always returning calls, and always positive. Can honestly say he made it less stressful than I expected. Thanks Kevin!
I contacted Kevin about 1.5 months prior to listing my house. He inspected the home, did some research on the market and gave me recommendations on what improvements I needed to make to maximize our profit. He also went a step beyond and helped me coordinate affordable contractors and retailers (flooring, appliances, etc.) to do the recommended work. We made the recommended changes and listed the house with Kevin. Kevin had it under contract with a cash deal for 97.8% of asking price two days after we listed it and helped guide us through the process until closing tomorrow. Thanks Kevin.
Kevin didn't listen to what I told him I needed and seemed preoccupied with something else. I told him I could not move untillthe end of july but had to move at the end of june. Also told him we were taking the washer and dryer with us, that little mistake cost me $800. He never showed the house, just put it on the internet. During the closeing he never said anything to us just sat in the back of the room and played with his phone. I would not use him again.
Kevin isnt just another real estate agent. He is a friend and someone who knows the business, the market, how it trends and, heres the kicker, listens to you! Kevin cares and that isnt cliche. He actually cares and if you are in the market to buy or sell a home, invest in property, rentals, what have you. If you arent talking to Kevin Duffy, then you arent going to do yourselves any favors. Give him a call, email or say hi when you are in the area. You will be glad you did and be even happier looking out the font window of your new home. Kevin knows he is my next agent when we buy our next house. So, you better put him to work for you, because he knows I am going to make him work hard.
