I cant express my gratitude enough for everything Nico has done to help me and my family with the sale of my Sisters home. My Sister passed in September of this year unexpectedly and I was tasked as the Trustee of her estate to sell her home. It was an extremely challenging situation overall as the house was packed full of stored belongings and there was a less than cooperative roommate and co-owner with mental deficiencies we had to work alongside. The house needed to be cleared out, cleaned, junk hauled and repairs made to get it ready for sale and there was no one else to assist me. I needed a motivated Realtor that had contractors available who would be willing to bill the escrow account and to get it done ASAP. The realtor service that I reached out to put me in contact with 3 agents to interview. Nico was the first agent to come out right away and view the home. I still interviewed the other two agents referred, but was appalled by what I experienced with the others. They both came off as inconsiderate of my situation, dismissive and money hungry. One provided an inflated quote for repairs for over $22,000 and under valued the home by $45,000. The other said the home was a hoarder home and I would be lucky to get $300,000 for it. Nico however was professional, kind, informative, resourceful and incredibly responsive to my many questions and concerns. He knew the area well and was motivated and excited to sell the home. Within just a few days he got his contractor in and cleaned up the yard, replaced the carpet, fixed the fence, took down a dilapidated covered patio and trimmed the trees while I cleaned out the house all for $5000! Though we still had the uncooperative roommate impeding upon our process, Nico was able to communicate effectively with him and quickly got the house ready and on the market expeditiously. The house was listed on Friday, an open house over the weekend, and we received 5 offers by Sunday evening with 2 of them already coming in above asking price! The entire process, though riddled with high emotions and various challenges, felt easy and manageable with Nicos assistance. He has an amazingly calm temperament and a rational and well rounded way of communicating and was able to interface between myself and the other co-owner to ensure there were no delays leading up to the close of escrow. Its hard to even describe how challenging this was as the co-owner had severe outbursts, an irrational mindset, and a loose connection with reality and would change his mind on selling the home or would refuse to cooperate in the process almost on a daily basis. Nico was not only understanding of the challenges, but he skillfully navigated them and was able to relieve a lot of stress and burden from me along the way by going way outside of his role of realtor and almost assuming a role of therapist and friend to us both. I cant say enough kind words about Nico, he was truly Godsend! If you want a motivated, knowledgeable, charismatic, professional, patient, kind realtor whos going to work hard to get you the most money for your home and get it sold fast then give Nico a call ASAP!
