What clients say about this agent....
We worked with the Carpenter Group to secure a rental property for lease as we consider a future move out of the area. Ken and Tami were nothing but professional, timely, and knowledgeable, The entire process went smooth and we love the new place. Thank you to the wonderful team at The Carpenter Group for an awesome experience!
My wife and I have partnered with Ken Carpenter and his Remax results team for over 16 years. We chose the Carpenter Group for our most recent downsizing move because of Kens consistent presence and responsiveness to multiple calls and consultations as the housing market ebbed and flowed since 2005. Ken has a great team behind him. Two of his associates, Svitlana and Tami really stepped up when we needed extra service. The group supported us through finding our new home and most importantly through the preparation, pricing and listing of the home we were selling. The Carpenter groups marketing insights proved to be extremely valuable. The Groups strategies and energy around marketing our home was exceptional. From the listing date, our home was shown dozens of times and sold in a week. We had multiple offers and accepted one well over the asking price. Bottom line is the Remax Carpenter group are seasoned real estate professionals that we would highly recommend.
Ken is friendly & honest. He really knows his stuff. He compared condos in my area to mine. We came up with a price that I was happy with. Ken put it on the market and it sold for asking price in a day and a half. I highly recommend Ken and his team!
It was a pleasure working with Ken in our new home search this year (spring / summer '20)! He's a fantastic listener and will provide info in a way that is not too pushy and allows you to come to your own decisions. He has years of experience in the Twin Cities housing market too and provided us with great options in the western metro.Ken was able to help guide us through the decision of buying existing homes for sale or working with a home builder. We ended up going with the builder route and wouldn't have known which ones to consider were it not for Ken. He was also able to identify lots that would be problematic based on water runoff from nearby homes. Extremely valuable!I would definitely recommend Ken to help you buy or sell your next home.
We moved here from another state. Tami would go to homes we were interested in and FaceTime us so we could decide if the house met our needs. Never expected that! She connected us with a lender so we didnt need to find one on our own when we were just here for a short time.We had so many difficulties in purchasing our house - one thing after the other. Tami did EVERYTHING we could imagine plus more working with the other realtor. When the roof needed to be replaced Tami went to the house and took pictures for us to see since we lived out of town. She contacted the contractor putting in our new windows to assure it was getting done. She really did the job of both the sellers and our realtor. Her experience and great realtor skills are what resulted in us finally getting the house we wanted. We HIGHLY recommend her to anyone purchasing a house. She regularly communicated with us to let us know about issues and good news. Tami is the realtor for everyone!!
Ken & Tami met our needs (& then some). As a Team they earned our trust, exhibiting deep knowledge based upon career experience. We appreciated their resourcefulness & accessibility. Two thumbs Up, Waay Up!!
Stay away. I agree with the recent review and rating otherwise the majority of the rating is old. This Real Estate Firm and Professional operate manually. The application process and documentation submission is manual and unsecured. Application Fee has to be dropped off at their office and no electronic payment is accepted. I had a terrible experience during the COVID-19. Svitlana failed to understand and insisted "Cashier Check" during the sheltered order for my state.
I called to request a tour for a rental townhome, but I was treated with such disrespect that I to end the conversation and passed on considering the property. When I called politely to view the property, I was not greeted with the typical respectful customer service I am use to when searching for a home. Svitlana acted as if it was an inconvenience to her to answer my call. She explained that before we can book a tour she had some questions, not totally unusual but it felt strangely hostile. She asked when we were planning to move, I told her the end of May but if we liked the place would could juggle two rents. She cut me off to say that I should be able to tell if I like the place from the photos and that I needed to commitment to move on May 1st to take a tour. She explained that she has given tours before and that it disturbs the residents living at the home now. I was baffled by her rudeness and assumptions she made about me from the two-three sentences she allowed me to speak. I completely understand the need to screen candidates but to jump to a refusal without a commitment seems strange and unprofessional. I told her that I would have committed but would not like to work someone so rude and wished her a good day.
My wife and I sold our home of almost 20 years to become one of the many downsizing boomers We had a relatively unsatisfying experience in our first effort to sell our home. Then we found Ken. I grew up in a real estate family. I know the animal well. Ken is what a real estate person can be, should be, and all to often is not. Ken gets it that for most of us we are not just selling a house and buying a house. We are leaving home and seeking to find a new one. Wish there were more if Kens out there, but ever so glad we found him.
