Kelli Caplan

Kelli was the ideal realtor for me after my wife died. She is not only extremely knowledgable of the real estate market in Newport News, Virginia but her interpersonal skills are invaluable. She is patient, kind, and empathetic. She is also an educator. She certainly taught me about the realities of the real estate market and relieved me of unrealistic expectations of return on the house. The house needed substantial repairs beyond a new roof which I had installed. Kelli through her vast network of contacts made arrangements with a slew of contractors. She followed up as necessary to make sure they all did quality work. She scheduled numerous open houses. She handled the details of the sale including the closing flawlessly. The house went on the market in October 2023 and the closing was December 7. At times the market seemed dead as interest rates reached 8 per cent. Kelli was undeterred. She also demonstrated great skill in guiding me through the difficult process of preparing the home for sale. She never got "down" and lifted my spirits when there was minimal interest in the property. What more can you ask of a real estate professional!

Kelli was amazing to work with! She was very knowledgeable on the market and was able to find just the perfect houses to show me. Kelli was willing to do just about Whatver it took to make sure I had the best deal there was! Would definitely recommend.

Kelli was amazing. She went far above and beyond in helping us find a house. She listened, was extremely patient, knowledgeable, available and encouraging. We never felt any pressure from Kelli and she supported us throughout the entire process. Kelli was consistently able to provide simple explanations for the complex mechanisms around house buying and the mortgage process. In addition, always reachable and prompt with a response even at inconvenient times, she is a fantastic communicator. Kelli is a great realtor, loves what she does, and will become your friend in the house hunting process. We highly recommend her and cannot thank her enough.

have bought 3 houses before and Kelli is like no other realtor I have worked with. She is more like a trusted friend or family member. We relocated from out of state and she has gone above and beyond to make sure our transition went as smooth as possible. She answers texts and calls late into the evening and seems to have an unlimited supply of patience. Kelli cleared an entire weekend to take me house hunting when I flew in, and never once pressured me or made me feel anything but supported. She is knowledgeable about the Hampton Roads and showed me many of the local attractions. We ultimately chose a house with a complicated situation and she stuck by us every step of the way until we finally made it to our closing almost 6 months later. She could have pushed us toward a quick closing and instead she helped us fight for what was best for our family. I have no doubt that we never would have completed the sale without her expertise and persistence. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

Kelli is the consummate real estate professional. She went above and beyond to help us sell our house in a challenging real estate market. She used every avenue available to her to advertise our home including open houses and social media. Even before we listed our house, Kelli came by to give us advice about staging it. Kelli is very easy to work with and always positive. Her communication skills are excellent. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she had the answer for us quickly. We moved from the area before our house sold, and she was always available to meet inspectors or repairman at the house as needed. Selling a house is always stressful, but Kelli made it as stressfree as possible. She is a great realtor with a great team!
