Kaz Murphy

Kaz Murphy was co-owner of 101 Beach Rentals, a vacation rental company, for over 15 years. With more than 25 vacation homes from Malibu to San Diego, 101 Beach Rentals became a staple for many California visitors enjoying our beautiful coastline. Besides renting the homes, as a licensed general contractor, Kaz also consulted clients on redesign and renovation ideas that would make the property more valuable and in turn satisfy the desires of higher end guests, many of whom returned every year. As general manager at ER Productions, a recording and music rehearsal company with several locations, Kaz worked closely with world famous and locally famous musicians, producers and songwriters. He set up rehearsal schedules, oversaw stage design, catered events and soirees, booked producers and recording sessions, and personally designed and lead in the construction of fifteen world-class recording studios. Along with his wife, Jacqueline Grad (an architectural designer) Kaz has been project manager for mid century modern renovations, and historical remodels, that are then put on the market as luxury and specialty homes. Jacqueline's business is called Sand and Stone Design Build www.sandandstonedesign.com. During 2020 he was project manager for the new Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA.
