Kayla attended Utica College as a full-time student athlete, playing for the Utica Women's Ice Hockey team. She graduated from Utica in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology-Child Life. The skills she acquired over those four years by being a student athlete such as her ability to work as a teammate, ability to be resilient, her critical quick thinking, ability to be held accountable, and her tough mentality have now transferred into her everyday work life.
