We had the fortune of having the Tracey's for both a buying and selling experience. Our buying experience occurred in Summer 2020, when COVID was still new, travel was very limited, and in-person visits were a near-impossibility. As I was getting ready for a military move to the hot DC housing market area, my wife and I had no choice but to press through. The Traceys were ready for the challenge. With outstanding research and prompt and clear communication to both my wife and I, we were able to find a wonderful home that met our price and location parameters before it went on the market. As almost all sales were settled within a day or two, Kathy and Graham wisely recommended make an offer on the first day and write a letter to tell a little bit of our story as a military family. The combination of speed and personal touch worked and the seller went with us without forcing us to go into a bidding war, something very common that summer and now. When we decided this February to retire from the military this Summer (2022) and move to the Tampa area (The decision had nothing to do with our DC area home...We love that home and will miss it deeply!), we knew who to go to: Kathy and Graham. Again, we needed to move fast, as we have four school-aged kids and would need to sell a home, move, and get settled before the school year in Florida starts. The whole effort was very intimidating, but we knew we didn't have to worry with the Tracey's. After a meeting to game plan the next two months of home prepping/staging, online posting, home showing, and the sale/purchase process, they had us ready, and it went off without a hitch. We were able to align the home showing with a pre-planned vacation that started on a Thursday and have an offer that Saturday we closed on while on a cruise ship.
