When we were first looking for our retirement home in the Wilmington, NC area, we were lucky enough to find the Intracoastal Realty Company, and even more lucky to team up with Kathy Knight. After briefly explaining our aspirations, she had quickly put together a portfolio of homes, which all fit our needs. From the very first time we met Kathy, we felt comfortable with her. Her constant smile, along with a professional attitude is contagious. As the Wilmington area was completely new to us, Kathy took the time explaining the pros and cons of the various neighborhoods, which made our final selection so much easier. It took us 3 or 4 days to look around, only to revisit the first house she had shown us, and make our offer, which was accepted. To sum it all up, Kathy is the rare type of person that will go the extra mile just to assure that the client ends up happy. We certainly are glad that we met Kathy.

I was able to find one I LOVE in a good school district, in a nice neighborhood, in about 2 months!! She was so helpful!!! While I was in the process of moving she handled everything, all I had to do was sign paperwork!

I was searching for a home in Wilmington, NC while still living in Texas via the internet. An online service advised they would connect me with agents in the Wilmington area. Kathy contacted me promptly (I was impressed because it was a Sunday). I made three separate trips to Wilmington and Kathy patiently took me to ALL of the properties I was interested in seeing. The third trip was the charm. I found the home of my dreams and Kathy made sure my offer was attractive and submitted it quickly in order to seal the deal.
