Kathy joined the largest real estate company in the Roanoke Valley, Boone & Company Realtors, sixteen years ago after she and her husband, Tom, were transferred there with Appalachian Power Company. Kathy and her husband have purchased and sold numerous homes and investment properties throughout their 42-year marriage. Her previous career paths have included Human Resources Management in Banking and Hospital Administration. She has held positions in Sales, Marketing, and Advertising throughout the state of Virginia. Kathy holds an HR Professional Designation from Bluefield College and she also graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association School of Human Resources Management. She earned a Virginia Real Estate Broker's License from Moseley - Dickinson Academy of Real Estate in Roanoke, VA. in 2006. After three years of ranking as a multi-million dollar producer, Kathy was promoted to the New Homes Manager for the two largest new home builders in the Roanoke Valley "Boone Homes and Fralin & Waldron, Inc. This is where she honed her skills in preparing homes to sell by creating unique marketing, advertising, and staging plans for each home and community, implementing the plans, pricing the homes, and keeping her Sellers informed at all times through a precise and up-to-date reporting system from the prospect feedback.
