Having experienced several significant life changes in close succession and already feeling completely overwhelmed, I had to sell my house to get a loan for an out-of-state house. I had a very short time frame to accomplish this. Kathi Rafters jumped right in, guided me beautifully, and priced my house right. She actually recruited her family to clean out my barn while I was out of state for my mothers funeral. They also pitched in when I had to pack up the contents of my house, barn, and connex box (and even did dump runs). Even though I was in a hurry to sell, she wisely suggested we slow down and make the house show-ready before we opened it up to realtors and potential buyers because first impressions go a long way, and she wanted me to get the most profit from the sale. She listed the house as Coming Soon to get the ball rolling. During this time, I was traveling back and forth from AZ to CA, and the house itself presented several challenges. Kathi contacted all the vendors, coordinated their visits, and oversaw repairs. She arranged a deep cleaning and had a beautiful video produced showing off the house and property. Several vendors informed me that they had chosen Kathi to sell their properties because they saw how wonderfully she cared for their clients. When the house was ready to be seen, I got a full-price offer within hours of going live on the MLS. We accepted the first offer, and it was smooth sailing from there. Thirty days later, we closed, and the money was wired to my bank. Just as crucial as Kathis knowledge, resourcefulness, and professionalism was her ability to keep me calm. I had never taken on such a massive endeavor on my own, and with her, I never felt alone. She patiently explained everything to me along the way. She was easy to reach and communicated with me at every turn. I truly felt taken care of. I could not have created a better realtor to help me sell my house if I tried. After my experience, I dont see why anyone would use anyone else!
