We used Susan Booth of the Karey Brown Team to sell our home in Topeka, Kansas and she is outstanding.Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property and how they promote their listings. All of my research revealed very high ratings with the Karey Brown Team and Susan Booth. Since we were building a new home and did not want to sell our house until we moved, I sent Susan an email in the late spring/early summer letting her know that we would like to use her services. We had our house listed with Karey Brown and were shocked at her inattentiveness to try and sell our house. She put it out onto websites, but did nothing else. She had 2 open houses, but only because we insisted on it. When it finally sold, she said "oh, I thought it would sell faster than that." She thought it would sell itself, I guess. Another realty company sold it, so she got half of the commissions for basically doing nothing. I would tell everyone to steer clear of her agency whatever she calls it now. Her real estate signs are so "busy", we had people stop and ask us what the sign was. You couldn't even tell it was a "for sale" sign in our yard.
