We worked with Karen, both as a seller and as buyers. Our experience was fabulous. We chose Karen, not only because we had met briefly in church 5-6 years ago, but because of her experience, reputation, and ability to relate fully to our situation and needs. Karen never showed frustration with us, but just kept on finding amazing properties. It was precisely what my wife and I both were wanting.We closed on the new home July 22nd and have moved in. We have been planning on moving for over two years. But the timing never seemed right. Things changed after the first of the year. After watching those DIY TV shows, we thought we knew what to do to get our house ready for the market. We had a long list of things to do. Maintenance, decluttering, and cleaning. Then, one day we went to an open house in our desired neighborhood. That is where we met Karen Pile. We talked about our house. She helped us understand the market our house is in, showed us what we needed to do to get the house ready, and helped us stage it for open house. We set a date for open house and got to work. Even though Karens things-to-do list was much smaller than our list, there were days when it seems impossible to have the house ready for open house. But we knew that God was at work. But we cannot place an offer until we have an offer on our house. It is all about Gods perfect plan and timing.Meanwhile, since it looked like we would not be able to sell our house fast enough to make an offer on The Indigo House, we decided to look at other options. After all, there are several new houses under construction on lots that were vacant when the process began. We viewed several houses that would be good as a second option if The Indigo House sells before we can make an offer. This was before we found our dream home (The Bluebird House). It had everything we needed plus a huge back porch, bigger corner lot, and it cost $50K less. This is truly the perfect house. God always has something better for us when we trust in His plan and timing. Now, we still have a house to sell so that we can make an offer; but, what are we going to do if our house sells before The Bluebird House is ready for move-in. The answer is, trust God. He has never let us down before and He will not let us down today. Our house was scheduled to be shown for the sixteenth time on day eleven. The client was only in the house for less than five minutes. Then on day twelve, Karen calls with great news. The client who viewed the house last night wants to make an all-cash offer with a quick close. And, he will let us rent the house until The Bluebird House is ready for move-in. This experience has confirmed what we knew all along: if you trust God, He will bless you abundantly. Gods way is always better than any plan I can dream up.
