We chose to have Karen Goddard, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Troth Realtors, represent us as we sold our home in the Antelope Valley. It really was an easy decision after talking with her given her tenure of working and living in the Valley for 30 years and her subsequent success. When we hired Karen to sell our home we didnt just get Karen, but a really terrific team she assembled who are not only professionals in all the ways youd hope: respectful, prompt, reliable; but also simply kind, a trait in short supply these days. While there are many homes in the urban AV, our home was a unique rural property with acreage in Leona Valley. Karen used both her local knowledge of the market to price our home as well as worked with a third party appraiser to support it and we sold our home within $5000 of asking price. Very impressive especially given interest rates were higher than they had been over 20 years! The photos and videos taken of our home made us question why we were moving at all (job relocation)! They did a spectacular job highlighting each aspect inside and out that made us swell with pride at what we had created. This attracted MANY hits on real estate sites and social media. Those, coupled with the work ethic and follow up of Karen and her business partner Cameo Bruckner, turned into actual showings. And even more, those who visited thought it was just as beautiful in person as the pictures shown - a testament to the skill of the photographer and videographer. Throughout the process, Karen and her team were there to answer our many questions and those of the potential buyers, be it suggestions of lenders and lending programs to homeowners insurance quotes in this dynamic market. Nothing can beat experience and knowledge and Karen has both in spades. We only wish she and Cameo lived closer now that we have sold and moved!

I connected with Karen and her team through my company's relocation program and I wouldn't work with anyone but her. At the time to buy your home, which is the most important purchase of your life, you need someone that takes the time to listen to your needs, and takes your cares away; that is simply Karen. If I could I would give her a galaxy of starts for review. She deserves them! She is the best! Karen and Cameo will search for the perfect home. While Karen will pulse the market to make the best offer or propose the best marketing strategy for you. I was out of state when I started my house hunting and Cameo did virtual tours for me and gauge my personal needs and taste. When I arrived I went directly to the home I thought was for me, and I didnt really liked it and I got frustrated due to timing and market constrains. It was then when Karen simply looked at me and said, "I think I have one home that is what you are looking for.." I simply entered to that other home and was IT. Was perfect home, and it was simply me. That was MY home. Karen made it happen. It was not a simple buy and there were some issues, but Karen made the entire process simple for me to navigate. She simply resolved any issue that rose very professionally and caring for me. I finally got my dream home and it was a wonderful home.. I worked with Karen again for the sale of this dream home (had to move due to work); she was the only person I trust and she simply did it again. I was happy with the sell, the buyers were also happy and on their new home by Christmas and all I wish is that she could help me to get my new home here in my new state. Karen is simply the best!

Karen was a great realter and resource for us. We were moving from out of town and didnt know the best areas or schools. Karen assisted us throughout the entire process. She took extra time to understand our needs and made suggestions for us. She even referred us to all our service providers and workers for home remodels and repairs.
