Karan is very professional yet approachable and open minded. You can tell he knows what he's doing and isn't just all talk after the first conversation with him. He has various backgrounds, such as finance and numbers that make him a very well rounded and knowledgeable real estate agent. He not only was able to help me with finding a home but also explain to me the finance portion of it that a lender would usually do. During the whole process Karan was very respectful yet honest. He will tell you like it is but also provide the flexibility and understanding that as the buyer I may not be comfortable with all the recommendations. He will work with you to figure out the best approach and price where as the buyer I'm comfortable and as the agent he is maximizing the use of his knowledge in bidding. Karan was also quick to observe and identify my likes and dislikes when looking at homes. He also has a very efficient support staff, Olive that was super helpful and quick with paperwork. Karan is a go getter and is clear headed to know what steps he's taking in the negotiation process and will share with you his plans while looking out for you, as the buyer. He is always busy but don't let that be a barrier because he will get back to you and make time for you no matter how busy or late into the night to ensure you are ok with paperwork and the process or understanding the next steps.Honestly, he was great to work with. Knowledgeable, consistent, and understanding. While we looked at many places he consistently reassured me that we would find something and not to rush. I really liked that he went with the flow and pace I was going and didn't push for a quick sell. He even kept in contact after closing to ensure I was set. I can't thank him enough for his honest, consistency, and wealth of knowledge. I was surprised that I got the home but know that it was in karans work as he spent time building rapport with the other agent and keeping consistent communication in terms etc. Thank you!

Where do I begin with Optimal Homes & Loan and their entire team!HUGE HUGE HUGE THANK YOU !!I just closed on my dream home and I am so glad that I did not go to my relatives, whose in real estate, and instead got super lucky with Karan ! Karan right off the bat was firm and showed how truly passionate he is with his job. As much as he enjoys it, he takes his job very seriously and making sure that his clients are happy in the end. I started looking around, and within a few weekends of searching I found what I had wanted! Karan knew what I was searching for and how much I was willing to spend; not to mention that Karan had already looked at my numbers prior and I was surprised that I was able to aim higher even. Closing my deal was tough, but he still believed in me and pushed through. Vivilya was also a very key individual who helped connect all the dots, along with Karan. She is very kind and lets you know what is needed and what the next steps and what you should be preparing for as the next steps. Karan and his team definitely made it easy for me, as a young first time home buyer with searching for my home and getting through the loan process. We've have a couple realtors in the past but none had the knowledge, patience and passion as Karan. He should us homes exactly how we described it. It was so hard to pick a house when we literally liked all of them. He gave us insights on why he likes or thinks that needed a change on a specific house and we agreed with him. This has been a long over due feedback. This is the least I could do let everybody know how pleased I am with my experience with 'Optimal Homes'. So I am going to get down to a lot of details without making this review too long ;)When we first met Karan, he showed us 4 houses on a weekend. Through out the tours we explained to Karan what we liked and what we did not. We also explained how much we were looking to spend. Surprisingly, he does pay attention very well! Almost every single houses he has scheduled onwards were aligning with our taste/needs/budget. Below are some key points what Karan has to offer:v He is punctual.v He is very prompt in responding and taking actions when needed (probably the most important thing in real estate).v He is knowledgable. He could estimate what needs to be done before moving-in and what needs to be addressed eventually on the fly.Great attention to details.v He provides practical feedback. He would look into the potentials of a property and break it down how/why it could be beneficial. He also pays attention to the neighborhoods and the surroundings. This is where having an experienced local agent shines. v He is honest. There were a few times when we went to an open house with Karan, and he knew right away that its not the right one for us. He would point out all the issues and give his honest opinion. East of bay area could be tricky. Within a same city there are streets you want to avoid and there are streets with great prospects. Karan knows this area so well. He'll steer clear of those unwanted areas.v He takes it personally. He would be as excited as me if he could find a property for below the market price. Or if its a property with some added perks which are easily overlooked.v He is diligent. Scoring a good deal is not always easy. It requires extra hard work, more browsing and a lot patience. And one need to act promptly once it is found. Karan is always willing to go that extra mile to find a perfect match and act quickly when needed.v He is professional. He keeps communications on point. He keeps paperworks straight. Within a short period of time we found a place which we liked. We took Karan's advice and made the right offer. We got the deal!Karan also offers loan service which is optional. I was little skeptical about having him as both my buyer's agent and the loan officer. But we got an amazing rate from his company. Having the loan done from his company actually turned out to simplify the closing process. I had one less thing to worry about.Last but not least, Karan has an excellent team. Many thanks to Viviliya for connecting all the dots and for patiently dealing with all the boring stuffs in the back. They made the whole home buying process very simple and fun. Karan is a very intelligent and talented individual. He was able to help my wife and I purchase our first home.
