Kara came to the U.S. in 1993 when her father, a Colonel in the Korean Army, was stationed in New Cumberland as a weapons liaison. Kara went from knowing two English words ("thank you") to graduating from Cumberland Valley High School as the concertmaster of the orchestra, captain of the Varsity Tennis Team, and 3rd in her class. Kara accepted a full 4-year tuition, room & board scholarship to Juniata College, where she double-majored in Pre-Medicine and Theatre, played #1 Doubles & #3 singles for the women's tennis team, toured internationally with the College Concert Choir, and was awarded the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society Circle Leader of the Year. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 and was awarded the Ruth S. Wolfe Memorial Scholarship for students with excellent academic records, high level of professionalism and promise for future success to study medicine at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey. Kara has two sons and is married to a radiologist at Hershey Medical Center. As a musician, writer, and fluent in three languages, quality and excellence is the name of Kara's game. She believes in experiencing life to the fullest and placing blue ribbons on every endeavor. Kara strives to bring the highest professional standard in real estate to her clients and colleagues.

We would NOT have been able to get our home had it not been for Kara. She advocated and pushed for us and did what felt was literally impossible. We seriously have our DREAM home and it is 100% credited to her. A home is so much more than a building. For my family it represents finally setting down roots after years of transition. It means creating a safe haven for our family and friends. Kara knew how important getting our first home was and she was bound and determined to find us our perfect space...and she did. I have had multiple people tell me how shocked they were at how much time and attention Kara poured into us. We truly got the VIP experience with her. With that being said, not only was Kara the best realtor we could dream of, I truly feel we made an amazing friend in the process! She is fun, personable, and the ultimate hype woman. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her and her amazing team. Opportunity made it necessary to sell quickly, off-season. We adored Kara after she sold us our home 5 years ago, so it was a no-brainer when it came time to sell. Kara got us on the market and made it possible for 31 families to see our home in 3 days! We had 5 offers, an awesome bidding war, and set the neighborhood record for sale price! When the buyers tried to push last-minute demands, Kara "took no tea for the fever"! I will NEVER list with another agent; no one is better in Central PA!
