About Kadette Fossum

I am Proud to be a Native Texan! I was born in Ft Worth, Texas, grew up in Waco and moved away for 7 years until I moved back to Waco in March of 2005. I have lived in Texas, Germany and North Carolina. I never thought I'd end up back in Waco, but am grateful to be here once again. I have been selling Real Estate in Waco and the surrounding areas for 17+ years. I have wonderful 18 year old daughter that has blessed me in so many ways and definitely keeps me going! Outside of Real Estate, Horses have always been a passion of mine and I have recently gotten into buying and retraining OTTBs (Off Track Thoroughbreds) to become Hunter/Jumpers. I also rescue miniature horses and other horses from kill pens as well, before they are sent to a slaughter house. On a more personal note, I married the Love of My Life in 2016, of whom I have known for 27 years, at the time of marriage, and he is a former professional baseball player and now a home builder with my Dad. He is my very best friend and childhood crush! I have realized that life's a challenge, but the ones who conquer the challenge are the ones who put their faith and trust in God to guide and direct them in the direction he wants them to go. Even working from her home base in Waco, Kadette was able to network with Dallas realtors and sub contractors to get our home ready and shown dozens of times even in late fall and winter till we found the right buyer and the right sales price for our home. A home that previous realtors had for sale for a year in 2018-2019 and only got one showing. My family will always be grateful to Kadette and her team for selling our home when work had moved us out of state during this entire process.
